Privacy Policy

Revo Estimated Delivery Date (“the App”, “Revo”, “we”, “us”) is a Shopify app operated by Revotekk. This policy explains what information we collect when you install and use the App, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

By installing the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App from your Shopify admin.

When you install Revo, we collect the following through the Shopify API:

• Store identification (shop domain, store ID, currency, timezone, primary language) required to run the App.
• Merchant-configured product data (products, collections, variants, vendors, tags, SKUs, metafields, shipping zones) used to evaluate delivery-date rules.
• Installed theme information required to inject the storefront widget.
• Aggregate widget events from your storefront (impressions, hovers, clicks, add-to-cart). These events are anonymous and are not linked to individual buyers.
• Buyer country, derived from the buyer’s IP at page-render time, used to match geolocation rules. IP addresses are not stored.
• Technical logs (App errors, request metadata, timestamps) used for debugging and abuse prevention.

Revo does not collect or store buyer personally identifiable information (names, emails, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or payment details). Revo does not integrate with Google Analytics or any advertising network.

We use the information above solely to:

• Compute and display accurate estimated delivery dates to your shoppers.
• Operate the merchant dashboard, onboarding flow, and rule editor.
• Provide per-rule analytics (conversion, engagement, CTR) in aggregate form.
• Troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and maintain service quality.
• Improve the App based on anonymized usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing. We do not use your data to train machine-learning models.

Merchant configuration data is stored for as long as your account is active. Order reference data (if your plan uses checkout-stage features) is retained temporarily for reconciliation purposes, with a maximum retention of 90 days.

If you uninstall the App, we delete your merchant configuration and anonymized event history within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records by law (e.g. tax, fraud prevention).

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted, logged, and limited to engineers with a legitimate operational need. We conduct regular security reviews and follow Shopify’s requirements for app developers.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@revotekk.com.

We use a small number of infrastructure sub-processors to run the App: cloud hosting, database, and error-monitoring providers. All sub-processors are bound by data-processing agreements and process data only on our instruction. A current list is available on request.

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you and your store.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restrict or object to our processing.
• Port your data to another provider in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw any consent you have given.

If you are in the EU, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar laws, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@revotekk.com.

Revo’s infrastructure may process data outside your country of residence. Where we transfer data out of the EU or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email to the address associated with your Shopify account.
